Unexpected Weightlessness
I just stepped on my bathroom scale, and the numbers stayed at zero. Didn't even twitch.
You have no idea how disturbing that can turn out to be, when it takes you by surprise. I do still exist, right?
Picking up the scale and shaking it around eventually convinced it to acknowledge my existence. I guess this might not be the afterlife just yet after all.
