The Influence of Pac-Man

Posted by Brenna:
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."—Kristian Wilson, Nintendo,Inc.
Comment from piercedreality:
that was also said [quoted] by Superstar DJ KEOKI a (very prominent dj) at a rave while coincidentally there was about 5oo kids running around in the dark listing to loud techno music while a good amount of them were doing their best to find various pills.
I played plenty of Pac-Man in elementary school, though, and I didn't grow up munching magic pills or going to raves. Nor do I find myself frequently chased by funny-colored ghosts trying to eat me.
