Weather, According to Weather.com

Sunny. 102°F (39°C)
Feels Like: 97°F (36°C)
UV Index: 2 Minimal
Humidity: 11%
Pressure: 29.76 inches and falling
Wind: From the West Southwest at 4 mph

This is the temperature at 6:00 p.m., you must understand. I hate to think what it might have been earlier. I was only out in it for about 60 seconds walking to and from my car, but I could actually feel my skin being baked alive. I think it will take me several hours to recover from this traumatic experience. And when I do summon up sufficient energy to move again, I shall begin researching the possibility of moving to North Dakota.

I don't recommend moving to North Dakota. It was that hot this past summer, very humid, and absolutely nobody has air conditioning. Oh, and the giant mosquitoes.

Arrrgh. Where should I move then? I know I certainly don't want Arizona either.

see, in winnipeg, just north of north dakota, it gets that warm, but with humidity. so it's a million times worse.
plus then you have to put up with copious amounts of mullets.

Well, that temperature is not acceptable at all. However, I do have a very high tolerance for mullets; you must remember that I'm a Ziggy Stardust fan.

well, ziggy stardust had a cool mullet. the mullets in winnipeg are more indications that people in this city have just given up. good times.

Mm...you think that's bad? Guess what I get to do tomorrow. *glances at clock* Er...later today.

Bus and walking in the morning which won't be TOO bad...and then walking in that hot sun, carrying a heavy black backpack. A 45 minute walk. NnnNNNnn. I get the joy of roughly 3 collective hours in the sun, more than half of which will be spend walking far from any shade. Oh! And this will take place between 3 and 5pm...

...every single day for months to come! YAHOO! I can already feel myself combusting with joy.

yeah, it really does get that warm in north/south dakota. thursday and friday are supposed to be over 100. IT'S SEPTEMBER, I WANT FALL NOW PLEASE.

Gah. Repeat that six times and I might be driven to offer you a ride.

But it won't be 100 degrees every single day for months to come. I bet you almost anything it won't be 100 degrees even one single day between December and February.
