Me vs. the Chicken and Stars: We Have a Winner!

A mere ten hours after I started them, I have finally conquered the chicken and stars.

I don't think it will be looked upon very agreeably at work if I stay home a third day. Sick leave is rather stingily granted around there at any time of the year, and all the more so during the weeks we're going to press (i.e., right now). So I must try very hard to function tomorrow.
