One of the Weirder Quizzes I've Seen

I have issues with...
birth
nature
walls
humor
genetics
Take Word Association Test

The reason I have issues with humor is that it made me think of the need to "humor" powerful unpleasant people from whom one is unable to escape.

And uh, the fact that I have issues with "nature" and "genetics" is so not a surprise.

i checked the m box; you could check the f one. not that it really matters, since it's only a silly quiz - but don't expect you'll actually be able to get away with never checking the m box again. they put it on job application forms, tax forms, all sorts of things where the consequences of not checking it can be very bad. and sometimes you actually have to give them the societally dictated answer to it, too.

Pish, tosh, don't be so conservative! If he doesn't want to mark a gender then you should encourage his rebellion. It's a brave move. I routinely refuse to mark my race or religion on forms, and nowadays it's usually listed as optional. Maybe if more people refused to mark gender, it would become optional too. So I say go for it.

By the way, I took the quiz twice, once as each gender option.

It wasn't intended as discouragement, just stating the facts of life. I don't state my own gender on forms if I can get away with not doing so, but I don't happen to be able to get away with it all the time, that's all. And if you don't mark it on a job application they can hold it against you for "inattention to detail and completeness" or some such nonsense. I do find it important to have a job.
