Hmm. You know, my cat has this microchip that will tell the Humane Society where he lives, and a phone number to reach me. While we're interviewing these people, taking their fingerprints, and probably making crank calls to their home phone to make sure they never feel comfortable in this country, why don't we chip them? Then we set up readers in all the metal detectors, the mall, and every ATM throughout the country.
And we could chip teenagers (using the mall system), potentially wayward spouses and parents with Alzheimers... maybe everyone. Yeah. Everyone.
If they're going to be this paranoid, I'd be happier if they just stopped issuing visas for a while. I don't mind telling the world that we've gone to our room and won't come out until we feel better. But we should treat people like human beings while they're here.
Chip us all!
