Oh yes, one other thing I'd like to receive for the Big Overhyped Fake Christian Holiday - just for one day, couldn't random strangers stop coming out of the woodwork to deluge me with a dozen angry flame emails for my queer by choice opinions I expressed weeks or months or years ago on random bulletin boards I didn't even think anybody read anymore?

Apparently not.

Okay, first, here is this really ignorant, insulting, homophobic post. The initial one isn't that bad, but the guy's comments to what people say are worse.

So I was reading through the comments, trying to decide whether I had something worth saying, when I come across a comment that was well-written, but used the "homosexuality is not a choice" excuse. So, I called her on it. And, lo and behold, she replied with a very civil, polite, open-minded comment.

Yes, actually I saw that URL on my counter earlier today, and I immediately though "oh NO!!!" because whenever people on LiveJournal link to me and it shows up on my counter, they're almost always saying something absolutely horrible that I just dread even clicking on . . . and then when I clicked on on that one it all turned out to be so wonderful. I was greatly relieved. :)
