Hahahahahaha

Nothing proves your do-it-yourself punk rock ethic quite like purchasing an "authentic punk classic" T-shirt manufactured by the Levi's corporation that has "D.I.Y. Punk Rock Ethic" printed across the front of it.

Yeah, but I bet cutting the sleeves and neckline off of it would...

Then again, I think my $3 Daytona Beach souvenir shirt that I cut off would be way punkier. My turquoise twin set is probably punkier.

Good ol' Levi was the ORIGINAL PUNK.

I'm not much of a DIY-er, because I generally have more money to buy things with than time to make things, but geez.

Ok, the high-paid t-shirt designer working for supercorporation Levi's must have realized what s/he was doing when s/he put this one together. Right? Someone with a really bitter, jaded sense of humor and a great deal of contempt for their vain teenage customers is giggling madly, with a tear in their eye, right now.

I'm trying to figure out a joke on how you should take care of the shirt by making sure it's properly IRONYed, but I don't know how to crack it.

Heh, I saw one of these at the Levi's outlet store last Monday. I was like, "What the fuck is this?"
