Calling American Leftists Frustrated with the Democratic Party's Lack of Interest in Leaving Iraq

According to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll, "by a margin of 56 percent to 38 percent, people who call themselves Democrats say the United States troops should 'leave Iraq as soon as possible, even if Iraq is not completely stable' rather than 'stay in Iraq as long as it takes to make sure Iraq is a stable democracy.'" Despite this, the 16,000-words-long official Democratic Party platform completely fails to acknowledge that any Democrats are in any way in disagreement with staying in Iraq for "as long as it takes." Does this bother you? Good. Sign the petition organized by Dennis Kucinich to have your disagreement presented to the Democratic Party Platform Drafting Committee at their convention in Miami on July 9th and 10th.

While you're at it, check a few extra boxes and you can simultaneously sign Kucinich's other petitions on universal health care, jobs and trade, repealing the Patriot Act and defending queer rights.
