The Forgotten History of Same-Sex Marriage

So, I'm currently gathering online resources to re-educate my mother and rid her of the more than slightly ridiculously ignorant belief she recently expressed ("assaulted me with," I'm tempted to phrase it) that same-sex marriage is not legal anywhere and never has been. So far, I've found four good websites on same-sex marriage currently, worldwide (plus extra details/documentation on that), historically, in nonwestern cultures, and historically, in premodern western cultures. But I know there's a lot more out there, some of which is much better than what I've got here, so I was hoping some of you could offer suggestions. I'd particularly like to collect as much information as possible on same-sex marriages in long-ago and faraway cultures, because that's what I'm finding it hardest to locate online.

I'll try to fing something later, but I know for a fact that homosexuality is illegal in India. It isn't illegal to call yourself gay or lesbian, but the act of having sex with someone of the same sex is definitely against the law.
