Morgan introduced me to the game Bejeweled today, and as a result I decided to waste a few hours playing five games of it. For the first four games I was extremely perplexed about how to strategize in this game and I never even got to the second bonus in any of them. But in my fifth game I finally hit upon a strategic theory that seemed to actually work, and I got this score:

Now I'm going to quite while I'm ahead, and not dare to challenge any levels beyond the Beginner one.
