Digicam Has Arrived!

Aaiiieeee!!!!

And I even managed to get it out of the package, after about half an hour of trying. For future reference, if you ever want to add a fourth item called "plastic" to the game of "rock, paper, scissors," it's clear that plastic beats scissors. My plastic packaging certainly did.

Pics to come, after I figure out how to work the thing, and install software and such.

Problem with Digicam Already!

Gaah. I don't think my computer has a USB port. It certainly doesn't seem to have any port the size and shape of the thing I'm supposed to plug into it. This would be a problem. Can I get a USB port someplace?

Update: Well, apparently I can . . . but I don't suppose any of you have experience in installing cards into PCI slots in order to add a USB port to a computer? It sort of looks to me like the kind of thing I need to get somebody else to do for me. Which means I should probably just take it into a computer store in town, instead of doing the online shopping thing again. Hmm.

Exams

I seem to be playing at being Arsenothelys's mommy lately. "Good morning dear, did you study for your exams? No! No excuses! Of course you can do it, darling, you're brilliant, 4 hours is plenty! Just make the effort, spend your 4 hours studying! Trust me, you'll do fine!"

I can only hope I'm less annoying than Arsenothelys's real mommy.

But really, I do care. Passing exams is an essential part of escaping evil real mommies who need to be escaped. And I want that escape to happen. No, it's more than that—I need that escape to happen. It's necessary to my own well beiing, on a really scarily unexpected level, that Arsenothelys must pass the exams.

So GO STUDY!
