To Do

• Mop floor
• Wash clothes
• Collect all birthday loot other than Jeremy
• Verify that parents are calm and polite and well prepared for Jeremy to safely meet them without being traumatized by the experience
• Re-wash irritatingly fast-dirtying car, despite the fact that the sun's gone down and I can't really see what I'm doing
• Put away at least half of the CDs and cassettes scattered about
• Wonder where the hell the several massive green and purple bruises on my left thigh and the cuts and scrapes on my right wrist came from
• Look up airport in phone book, atlas and MapQuest; figure out how to find my way to it
• Attempt to clean oven, resulting only in making it look worse than ever and also messing up the previously very neatly mopped floor
• Take shower
• Dust bookshelves and television
• Become thoroughly disgusted with self for ever having allowed that thick a layer of dust to build up in the first place
• Wash wastebasket
• Re-clean oven, and get it halfway really clean this time; decide that halfway is quite sufficient and give up there
• Sleep
• Re-clean floor
• Wash dishes
• Clean under bathroom sink
• Attempt to glue loose rubber floor edging back onto wall in various places throughout residence
• Move cardboard boxes around
• Put away at least half of the books and papers scattered about
• Take out garbage
• Check how embarrassing car washed in the dark turned out to be; re-wash if essential in order to see through windows
• Pick up Jeremy from airport
• Commence X-rated activities
