I'm Such a Addict . . .
As a person who drinks nearly two gallons of milk per week, I was quite disturbed today after I followed Subtly Ironic Sean's link which led me, two clicks later, to a page about the evil corporations putting carcinogenic genetically engineered growth hormones into milk. In fact, I was so disturbed that I fixed myself a thoroughly water-based dinner with no milk at all.
But after 20 minutes of this I became terribly depressed by my desperate milk cravings and finally poured myself a tall glass of those yummy carcinogenic growth hormones anyway.
It was delicious.

careful...
you can indulge in hormone free milk, i think trader joe's sells it, and i know fresh fields does. it's worth it. It tastes better.
i can't consume dairy at all, dammit. i'm addicted to soy though, so it's ok. i get a total high of well being and good feeling when i eat soy products. go figure.

I fell in love with a song of theirs one day when I was 12 . . . took me months to figure out who made it . . . it wasn't the music I liked, the music was quite dull and uninteresting, but the words for some reason just really spoke to me that day and I absolutely HAD to own it . . . so now like once or twice a year when I get terribly nostalgic for being 12 years old, I play that song.
The song is "Don't Answer Me".
