I Voted

So you go vote too, fellow Californians.

I voted for Bustamante and no on all the yes/no questions. A straight Democratic party ticket, same as Clare. I'm not sure I've ever done that before. Not that there were as many questions to do it on this time as there usually are.

If Arnold takes office I will have to be very, very ashamed of my state indeed.

I'll be ashamed of my former home, as well. I hope we won't have to be.

What part of California did you live in?

I lived in the East Bay (Albany and Oakland) for about 3 years, and then in Eureka for about 4.

Prepare for shame. He's a MOOOOVIE star! There's little we can do. Too bad now his buddy Ken Lay and his ilk won't have to pay back the $9 BILLION Davis and Bustamante were after.

I'm trying really hard to remain in cheerful denial for the next 9 hours.

If Arnold takes office I will have to be very, very scared, between Bush in the WH and Ah-nold here -- what a nightmare! It would be terrifying to have that little confidence in both my state and national administration. Ick! Not that I've actually liked most previous administrations, but this would be a horrifying new low.

Wow, I've never been linked to for a political post! Cool! Now off to take my turn a the polls....

My mother cast a write-in vote for Maria Shriver. I do not understand this.

In other news, Aaaarnold needs to not win.

My mother and my brother both voted for Cruz Bustamante and no on recall, but my father voted yes on the recall and for some unheard-of Republican minor candidate (neither Schwarzenegger nor McClintock).

I take no responsibility for the actions of my family members. :p
