It's Amazing How Much Gets Forgotten by History . . .

29 years ago, Colorado performed 6 gay marriages, and those marriages have never been legally invalidated.

My turn for off-topic comment!!! SOOOO what did you think about Tuesday's episode? I was angry that noone stopped Shandi. April made such demeaning commments about her, and I was mucho appalled with the "girls cheat on their boyfriends all the time" comment she made in the van. I just think is modeling so important that you want someone to humilate themselves on television? oh well, my girl still won the competition the next day.
Just was wonderin' what you thought!!

I'm so glad you brought that up - I'd been thinking about asking you myself. It was a really moving episode, all around, and the fact that Shandi was drunk at the time really changed my feelings about the situation a lot. The guy was creepy for sleeping with her when she was drunk, and I suspect he must have known she had a boyfriend too. And yes - it did disturb me that none of the other girls made any move to intervene and warn Shandi to think about what was happening, and I couldn't help but suspect them of being partially motivated to avoid intervening by their desire to sabotage her chances against them.

I was so, so glad that Shandi and her boyfriend patched things up in the end. He seems like a remarkably decent boyfriend all around really, and I don't question Shandi's commitment to him like I was questioning it before, now that I know she was drunk at the time, and after seeing the entire situation rather than just the previews, and seeing how immediately and severely guilty she felt for it, and how she was immediately honest with him about it.

They traveled through Europe for several months before sneaking back into the United States, where Sullivan, a writer, has lived illegally with Adams, who works at a law firm, ever since.

Um...is that really the best thing to spread around? Or is he protected by laws not to be forced out of the country? I don't know too much about INS policies.

That's a good question. You're right, it certainly doesn't sound like a good thing to spread around.
