I Seem to Be Having a "Sharp Tongue Day"

Random LJ Person 1: *posts picture of self*
Random LJ Person 2: Your eyebrows are in need of help. They're uneven and look like caterpillars.
Me: They look like perfectly good eyebrows to me.
Random LJ Person 2: Perfectly good for waxing.
Me: I think it's more that your brain is perfectly good for lobotomizing into one with a slightly less microscopically tiny concept of how many eyebrow types can be beautiful. And into one less gratuitously rude, too.

Hahaha! Good for you!

You know, I like the way unplucked eyebrows look. Although I'm not courageous enough to not pluck the area between my brows.

[identity profile] jaq.livejournal.com 2004-05-26 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I do that too.

[identity profile] queerbychoice.livejournal.com 2004-05-26 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I am. :p Really, it would never even occur to me to consider doing such a thing. I wasn't raised to believe eyebrows needed maintenance or separation from one another. (Chin hair, on the other hand, I was raised to believe should not grow upon me, at least not in any color other than blonde or with any texture or length other than peach fuzz. It's much harder for me to resist feeling compelled to shave that off. But I certainly wouldn't have the pain tolerance to pluck it.)

you need to stop shaving your chin. it looks silly, and fake.

:p

[identity profile] queerbychoice.livejournal.com 2004-05-26 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I already know that. :p

[identity profile] interjections.livejournal.com 2004-05-26 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm so used to plucking them that it doesn't bother me anymore. I started at 10 cuz some kids made fun of me for having a semi-unibrow. :(

I like [livejournal.com profile] theora's eyebrows :-)

[identity profile] queerbychoice.livejournal.com 2004-05-26 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, but you like practically everything about [livejournal.com profile] theora, so I suspect you'd end up liking any eyebrows at all if they happened to be [livejournal.com profile] theora's. Which is exactly how it should be.

Thou shalt make thine eyebrows in mine own image!

Hehe! Nice! That sounds like something I would say.

Speaking as someone who doesn't do the plucking thing (except for between my eyebrows, because I too am kinda chicken), bravo!

Coincidence!

[identity profile] datagrok.livejournal.com 2004-05-27 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
I grew tired of the 'brows ongoing attempt to unite against me, so on a whim I plucked today, first time in far too long (months.) And then, this evening, what shows up on my friends page?? SPOOKY!. It must be a sign!

And I've always disliked the waxed-into-a-tiny-line look. My first high-school crush had big normal eyebrows.

Hmm. But my user pic seems to have completely removed his eyebrows. Sheesh.

I don't think your userpic removed his own eyebrows. I think he's a victim of the [livejournal.com profile] eyebrow_thief.

Eyebrows are good. If they weren't, nobody would bother stealing them. Poor userpic. You should get him some new ones.
