It's one thing to read the articles claiming that "Kerry Won" and "Never Say Die-bold: So You Don't Think the Bush Campaign Stole This Election? Think Again." "Interesting possibility," you might think after reading those, "but how much of this is real and how much of this is wishful thinking?"

Well, check out this eye-opening set of bar graphs, showing the difference between exit polls and the official vote count in states that use electronic voting versus states that use paper ballots. Because when you see the graphs, well, that abstract and theoretical "possibility" becomes a whole other thing entirely.

Maybe I'm just overly skeptical, but I've never trusted electronic voting (or many of of the new uses for technology). I like to be holding physical evidence of whatever it is I've done.

If it hasn't become so already, the voting process may soon become a front, with the decisions already having been made, and the "votes" just happening to reflect that...
