What's Your Star Trek Species?
According to the Star Trek Species Selector, I am most likely . . .
# 1 Human
# 2 Betazoid
# 3 Cardassian
# 4 Romulan
# 5 Trill
# 6 Vulcan
# 7 Bajoran
# 8 Andorian
# 9 Ferengi
# 10 Klingon
I'd like to know why Trill ranked so low. I wouldn't mind being Cardassian though; I always liked Garak. As for the Betazoids - really, I'd rather not be nearly that empathic. It sounds painful.

Re: Probably a silly question ....
No problem about Sunday; you weren't the one who started the discussion anyway. And really, to think is inherently to make value judgments, but that doesn't mean that just because someone has taken some drugs that I find scary, I'm going to fail to appreciate the good things about them.
I have personal experiences which give me very good reason to very severely mistrust anyone's idea that they "know how to handle" drugs and alcohol and that they can really "recognize their own limits" and stay within them. That isn't going to change, and I am never going to want to have a significant other in my physical vicinity who's very fond at all of addictive mind-altering substances. However, you're nowhere near my physical vicinity, so if your own significant others (Miranda, your cat, your mother . . .) are all happy then that's what matters. I just wouldn't want, personally, to be one of your significant others; but since I wasn't invited to be anyway, there's no reason that should make any difference to you.
Re: Probably a silly question ....
Like I was saying about communes being the basic social unit, and one being free to choose what commune one lived in.
Re: Probably a silly question ....
By the way, Queerbychoice, I did respond to your comments re our debate in your Sunday, October 7th entry. In case you didn't notice. Or maybe you did and don't want to continue to debate. That's okay too if you're not interested. Bye!
