Lots of nice mail over the past few days from lots of nice people named Frank, plus one named Isaac who foolishly imagines that I might not find the time to read all his old OpenDiary.com entries. Nonsense: I read everything you recommend. Heinlein is next.

Frank wants me to tell everyone to buy Jennifer Warnes's new CD The Well. He says:

"Most who listen ask how she got it out so fast after Sept 11. It was released Sept 4.

The opening line: 'We're gonna make it. I know we can.'

Excellent writing. Great vocals."

Also, I tried to start an argument with the other Frank about war/pacifism, but it didn't work because I couldn't find anything to disagree with. That was refreshing. I wish arguments would end that way a whole lot more often.

Silly boy. I like everything about you, except perhaps how you don't have as much confidence in your wondrousness as I do. And even that hasn't become sufficiently overdone in my presence to really bother me much. It's more just amusing.

I read them all. Some of the last few looked familiar, because I think you posted them on LJ too; but I re-read them anyway. They were good. You are good. You are excellent.
