My throat hurts. Badly. So I'm pretty sure I'm about to come down with a horrible cold.

I haven't had a cold in so many years that I hardly remember what they're like. But I'm not looking forward to being reminded.

And I have to be very very very busy today at work to make up for not having come in to work on Saturday.

I have a cold 2.5 out of 4 weeks of each month.Before I've sufficiently recovered I have another cold...

I've stopped taking antibiotics.They screw up your body,especially your digestive system.I don't take anything at all when I get colds now.i don't get better quicker now,but at least the rest of my body remains intact.

Antibiotics only kill bacteria. Colds are caused by viruses, not bacteria, so antibiotics are of no help whatsoever against colds.

I don't take any antibiotics. I usually don't like to take anything either, but this cold really got me down. I've been coughing all sorts of stuff up, it's quite gross. Maybe I shouldn't smoke, that might help me recover faster huh?

Hope that you are eating something before sucking on those. They are either less effective or upset your stomach.
